Cold-Calling Tips

  • When you get to the pricing stage during the sales call (this should be in the latter part of the call), and you have an early bird (or other) promotion you can offer, make sure to always state the regular/full price first.

 

  • After that, you can make a transition towards the promotion. With the promotion, there should be a give and take element (for example – you can offer a lower price, but in return you ask that the purchase is made before a certain date).

 

  • Don’t shy away from mentioning the actual full price first with confidence, and let the actual value of the product sink in with the prospect first.
